This is a bit misleading: the time taken for Venus to rotate on its axis is a sidereal day, but because the planet going around the sun, a solar day is a different length. Mercury is even funnier. While it has 88 Earth days year and 59 Earth days rotation period, Mercury has 176 Earth days length of day (sunrise to sunrise). 1 day = 2 years.

Not exactly true. A day is defined in solar time and since the rotations seem to be opposite to each other a year on Venus is almost 2 (solar) days. Interesting info nonetheless :-).
