FUN FACT — Despite the Sun containing 99.8% of the Solar System's mass, the centre of mass of the Solar System is not currently inside the Sun. Thanks to this, intelligent life elsewhere in the Milky Way can deduce the existence of planets around our Sun.

Fun fact #2: A photon created in the Sun's core reaches the surface in 100,000 years on average. Then it takes an additional 8 mins to get to us on Earth. Good ol' sunshine!
