Cumin tea is so South Indian, my mother drinks it all the time “for the digestion”. Ugh. I’m with you. Wouldn’t have been a pleasant surprise.
I just went to make yansoon (anise tea) but accidentally used cumin seeds 
Arab failure. I usually smell them but they look so similar and I assumed I grabbed the right one. Cumin tea is not the same.
