Dyadic Relationships among little girls is very pronounced in school age, the various pairs of female BFFs while boys tend to form diffuse "packs". It's anedoctal story according my childhood's memories.

Men can work efficiently in large groups once the hierarchy is established, which usually happens quickly, but add one woman to the group and infighting/competition begins. Large groups of women seem to be full of drama, infighting and competition constantly.

It would be interesting to look at group cohesion among sports teams of women vs men.
