Each episode of The Freq Show costs about $4,000 to create. By participating in our May donation drive, you can help ensure that future episodes are possible, like for our upcoming series Queer Tropes. The more we raise, the more we can produce for you! https://feministfrequency.com/donate/

With feminism becoming more mainstream it's losing its political origins, so we want to go back to the basics. Join us this season as we define the vocabulary of intersectional feminism together. Oh, and please donate so we can continue making videos! https://feministfrequency.com/donate/ https://twitter.com/femfreq/status/992056357997211648 …

If you're using white people as a baseline, sure. Your life isn't easier than the lives of other white people just because of your skin color, but not everyone is white. Some people who aren't white face difficulties in life on the basis of their skin color alone.

Some people who aren’t white also living quite comfortably, while some people who are white are living on the streets. The notion that the color of your skin dictates your situation is ridiculous.

Friendly request to change the word able-bodied to abled. The former is not the opposite of disabled, while the latter is. And it erases mental disabilities.

It can't be stressed enough that privilige isn't a question with 5 but hundreds of answers to check. Otherwise people will never understand the concept. I think more could've been said in that direction but it was a good introduction. Looking forward to the rest of the season :)
