Called this one back in October. I haven't been able to read him as anything but a villain since he was introduced:https://twitter.com/MarkTweedale/status/917953089960681472 …

Also, pretty sure Tyler and Voq are gonna stay in the same body and gradually learn to live in a kind of harmony that acts as a kind of beacon of hope for one day making peace with the Klingons. They were telegraphing it heavily this episode.

I'll stick with this season in solidarity with you, but honestly, I find myself frustrated and bored watching this show. Like
@ebonyaster though, I do enjoy the camp factor.

CBS turned Discovery into another shitty suspense drama. I haven't seen anything yet that actually felt like Star Trek.

I have the impression it is still better than it was in the beginning. I enjoy the show pretty much now. I hope the doctor lives on in the spore field and can talk to stammets from time to time. Still loving your recap very much.pic.twitter.com/d3ppai75lq

Nitpick: that's not how you pronounce "Giger". The i is a long-ish i, like the "ee" in the English "beet". Or ɡiːɡər in IPA notation.

As for the episode itself, I...enjoyed it. Because I don't take it seriously anymore. It's more like the 1980s Flash Gordon movie now
