"What were you wearing?" - the irrelevant, victim-blaming question sexual assault victims are all to often asked.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/powerful-art-exhibit-powerfully-answers-the-question-what-were-you-wearing_us_59baddd2e4b02da0e1405d2a …

Name a rape case that hinged on what the victim was wearing

I know a victim here in Minneapolis whose case was not charged partly because of her clothing. It shouldn't matter, but trust me it comes up

Ok so again name a case, you saying 'I know someone' and 'trust me' makes me think you're bullshitting me

I work with sexual assault victims. But I would obviously never name them. Their full stories are for them to share, though

I'm saying name a case not a person, case info is public record anyway

MOST rapes never get to court, and if they did "what questions did the police ask" isn't top of the list.

You realize that the clothes an alleged rape victim was wearing can help track down the alleged perp? Eg asking others in the area...

This is not why the majority of the survivors are asked and reasked this question. And you know it.

There does need to be a distinction between the collection of victims clothing for forensic purposes and the rape myths led questioning.

This exhibition is clear in its sense and purpose. To show up and say but the police might ask questions is silly. Sorry.

I was agreeing with you. Often police excuse questioning as purely investigative when not always. The research has been clear for decades

Your perception of men is seriously flawed. Pretty sure the vast majority think rape is an atrocious crime.
