@femfreq If anything, it should be a sign that things need to change. If that garbage is considered 'normal', the community is toxic.

@femfreq you: “rape and death threats are normal in gaming, and that’s bad” them: “no because rape and death threats are normal in gaming” - 1 more reply

@femfreq not a normal part of any community and I'm kind of sick of people trying to say it's an online legit culture. -
@Vicious_pen@femfreq Exactly. They haven't figured out that their "trash talking" is actually awful threats and harassment.

@femfreq I can't even imagine looking down on gaming so much that they see that kind of behaviour as 'normal'. - 1 more reply

@femfreq It's a bit like saying "Murder is a part of society, so we should stop trying to reduce the number of murders."Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@femfreq@Scott_Wegna And seriously, is that REALLY a community you want to be a part of if that really is the norm??? -
Only in the sad little minds of the sad little people who say things like that.

@femfreq I've also heard about "rape" being used as a game term for being killed in-game which is appalling. That word should be banned. -
@Mr_McButtons@femfreq It's not a mere word, so to use it as a game term or threat and act like it's not a big deal is wrong imo. -
@KelseyFireheart@femfreq A word is a word. It only has as much power as you want to give it. -
@Mr_McButtons@femfreq Not my point. If you use it so much, that word has less power and it allows people to think that it's not impt. -
@KelseyFireheart@femfreq Tumblr has done a nice job in making a serious word become a joke, you should thank the snowflakes for that. -
@Mr_McButtons@femfreq No wonder we had a blizzard. The idiots are in town. :P - End of conversation
