@femfreq I really like these, thanks for doing them. Also good to see you mentioning the quality of Hale's voice acting, she's amazing.

I hate to admit it but there's a bit of this in the origins of Gilbert and Grim - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYqYLfm1rWA … "Ms. Male Character" from
@femfreq -
The very first version of Gilbert and Grim only featured the title characters as recurring characters and then came William and Thalia.
-
Whilst the comic has never had any of the personality issues described, Thalia's visual origins are green Gilbert with hair and a bow.

@femfreq Good video. Took a second to click that Ms. Male characters are lame because their gender is the only thing about them. Agreed.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@femfreq Another fantastic video. Both those tropes always bugged me as a kid. I'm glad more games (though not enough!) are moving from it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@femfreq Many games are played by males before being geared towards them (ie Angry Birds). Still, I agree with most of what you've said.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@femfreq After watching, I would argue that companies reflect the social opinion at-large rather than intending to subjugate women to men.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@femfreq Well done, Anita. You have me dubiously looking at bows now and wondering what a world with male being the deviation would be like.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@femfreq May I translate them into German? A lot of German children need at least German captions and some grown-ups too.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
