You don't understand being critical of any media because you don't allow people to criticise the media you create. Want to prove me wrong? Enable comments and show the like/dislike ratio on your videos.

Uh, dude, criticizing doesn't equal attacking, which is what you & quite a few others are doing and over a fucking poster no less. People also tend to attack & dislike her videos just because she made them which isn't valid in the slightest. Why should she have to put up w/that?

“Dude”? Did you just assume my gender? At what point have I attacked anyone? Please show evidence to back up your claim. If Anita truely believes you should be able to criticise media, then she should start by allowing people to criticise her media.

No and don't try to use gender politics as a derailing tactic. Your eagerness to rip apart her media is a sign of your malicious intentions but I'll concede it's a bit of a reach on my part. No, see, as I said before: people want to attack her media just because it's her media-

It's not criticism when your only basis for going after her is her politics and the fact that it's her. That's when your "critiques" become personalized attacks and Anita doesn't have to open herself to such toxicity in order to be valid or to sell posters such as the one above

If you think I have gone after Anita's work simply because it is work done by her then you need to show some evidence to back up that claim. It's interesting the way you phrased that though. In one breath you say I should not go after her politics...

So you love games? Why don't you address the sexualization of male characters in games too, there are many examples and they are pretty much exaggerated.

Hey! If you'd like to do a write-up of toxic masculine or homophobic depictions of men in games, go ahead! They can't do everything, and it's great to hear more voices. If you can't do it all, start the work on it with an outline, and bring it to others. So go, do it! ^-^

Absolutely. He sounds passionate on this issue he for sure should write this. More voices are never a bad thing. I've been thinking about writing a piece about exploration vs power fantasy. Focusing on the depictions of men and women based on the target audience.

Quite honestly I'd do it if I had the time, It's not like I'm getting thousands of dollars to fund a research, in fact, I don't even need that money, I've seen it with my own eyes, I know which games depict men fully naked, as opposed to what Anita is trying to claim.

Yeah, Anita is quite lucky to be doing what she likes to be doing! Anyhow, even if you don’t have much time, build an outline, put it in a Twitter thread, and come back later to discuss it. It can be tough find an audience, but we’re out here! ^-^

Put your message out there. As long as it's not hate speech or personal attacks you may pick up an audience.

I volunteer my services as a mansplainer translator to the general public. I understand the languages of feminist theory and toxic masculinity. In college I wrote several successful feminist essays highlighting patriarchal patterns in literature while being outspoken & male.

I create media too. Be critical of me, pwease. I made the space opera political parody called "Pence Claims To Have Been Probed By Aliens About Trump-Russia Collusion" - and there's a pink-haired feminist character who is one of the primary sources.https://www.flake.news/now/2018/08/20/pence-trump-russia-collusion …

Overall all the Bioshocks were great games. Maybe a trip back to Rapture as Eleanor Lamb may remedy the situation in the future. Even playing her for five minutes in Bioshock 2 to rescue the Big Daddy yourself would have worked somewhat, but the cut scene was pretty cheap imo.
