What intersectionality is: a cannibalistic free form competition where the victor emerges by making the most fuss over how lame they are. TIFTFY

It's a self-imposed system of divide and conquer where people who should all be on the same side compete with each other for the title of most oppressed, poisoning any real progress and alienating any potential allies. It's cancer. It sucks. Keep it up :)

Or the death of meritocracy. No longer are you judged on your abilities but instead some arbitrary segmentation and group identity you have been assigned defines your life chances.

Rewatching, I am also really into @carolynmichelle ‘s eye makeup. I know- definitely not as important as the message- but I am still going to try to deconstruct and reproduce it :))

“Intersectionality” is the new astrology. Immutable characteristics, not stars, now determine your history and future.

Clear, simple explanation that makes a complex issue easier to first digest. 👍
