Hi! I really liked this episode but just fyi, I think the video was erroneously titled episode 2.01 instead of 2.02 :)

You do realize the ultimate expression of 'intersectionality' is the individual. Every single person on the planet is their own unique situation. So by grouping people by all of these boxes you want people in you are being the oppressor.

That's fine... still doesn't negate the premise that if you take the idea of intersectionality to it's fullest then you are dealing with the individual minority of one, not any group.

It depends on the situation. Sometimes magnifying to such an extreme extent ceases to be helpful.

A call to anyone in this comment stream. Reject this awful politics of division. We are all humans living hard times on rock revolving around the sun. Reject this idea of only identifying with a gender or race. We are better than that.

See, the problem is, you're lying. Your statement is made in bad faith. You very much like to identify genders. It's not even a good lie. It's the dime a dozen sort of bad faith position you see in every response to every statement FF makes.https://twitter.com/squeek71718438/status/1003325354814132225 …

Thank god for modern feminism, privileged rich while women talking about the things that REALLY matter: policing colloquial language and discussing changing tampons. Someone pass me a placard I am ON BOARD.

Thanks for this! So often intersectionality is used to mean only identity or diversity instead of as a tool or lens to analyze and fight oppressions related to political marginalizations based on identities. You made its power for building solidarities stand out accessibly.

I remember learning about that in my first semester of college, and since then, it's come up plenty of times in my personal and professional life. Still, I could use a refresher course.
