wow. I've only gotten delivery twice but I've gone out of my way to give EXTRA in the app because I know sometimes those things can be shady and I want to make sure that the drivers are getting a decent cut. The other day I tipped $10 on a $20 delivery.

Hell no! Restaurants need to pay their employees properly and not offset this responsibility on customers.

I have worked about in-app/on-site tipping because I know the vendor usually takes a bigger cut that way, but that just means I tip bigger there?

I'm very thankful that, though our pizzas cost more, MN doesn't allow tip credit against our minimum wage (which is higher than fed., too). Still, people in Minnesota: Tip your delivery and pick-up counter people!pic.twitter.com/nI3cUZIzvH

This is awful, and companies should build in a minimum tip as part of the contactless service. We could have a broader conversation of where tipping makes sense and where it should be built-in service charges, but for now, contactless should = tip built in.
