Please email feedback@thetimes.co.uk to complain about Janice Turner's transphobic, inaccurate, and scaremongering article about changing rooms. Enough complains could launch an investigation. Enough of this nonsense.

Thank you for saying this. I am so sick of her transphobia.

How about we read the article and make our own minds up? You ok with that?

        Many things. It misgenders Travis.

That's not the only problem, misgendering people is an act of violence and often a precursor to verbal harassment and physical violence that trans people face on a daily basis. That's a really big problem.

Knowing someone's bio sex is not violence. If you think it is, you need serious psychiatric help.

You don't get to decide. I've been misgendered, harassed, told I shouldn't exist. That is violence.

You're telling women we don't exist. But since we are sane, we know it's just the rantings of a pomo outcast grasping for attention, and not violence.

If you don't feel it was violent then that's your right, but as a trans person it feels violent to me and you cannot deny me that experience, or others who feel that every single day.

I am sorry to hear you have experienced gender disphoria, I would hope that having hat experience would make you feel compassion to others who experience it.
