The tech industry has tons of problems, but on the whole, it is yielding huge benefits for the greatest amount of people. I believe tech is one of the few sectors where people are actually trying to change things for the better. Tech is more than a business.
And remember, negativity is easy, building products is hard. But one maker has still more impact than a thousand naysayers.

The various dictators in history still worked their guts out to achieve their goals. And they had their impact. But hard work and impact doesn't make you automatically a saint (unless you are the Catholic or Orthodox Church I guess, then you can achieve sainthood easily)

Building products is hard, and negativity is easy. But being sloppy and lazy in thinking holistically and systematically (as Donella Meadows would) is even worse. We, in the tech industry, have to grow up, fast!
