  Totally agreed with you. That's why I think it's always great to learn a language absolutely different from those you already know. Either human or computer one. Or to try a different programming paradigm.

  A great insight. But the modern concept of utilitarian corporate knowledge model cannot achieve this. Many mystics and some rare scientific scholars have reached the same conclusion. Old Zen meditation should help too possibly,though not tried personally.

  Totally agree. From my personal experience switching between fields has been hard, but in the process, besides learning new things, I’ve gotten rid of many preconceived ideas.
