Decentralized ML is fun and exciting! seems will raise some security concerns
+1, "using random people's computers" sounds like a recipe for a privacy and security disaster. It would certainly work for some jobs that aren't sensitive, but we all know that people would end up being careless with it. We'd need a "blind" way to train models on encrypted data.

Indeed, not very good at isolation by default... Some newer GPUs support hardware virtualization (SR-IOV) but we never looked into how good they are at isolation...

I been thinking about this for a while, but wouldn't training on encrypted data be effectively impossible? (As a trained network is able to leak information about the data it was trained on?)
