Vision is about a broad mission. Execution is about people finding good paths -- including paths you don't know about -- toward that vision. Leadership definitely is not about convincing people you are right.
Leading is largely about getting others to adopt your goals and values. It's about setting the direction. As opposed to telling people what to do. Precisely because others may be better than you at figuring out the way forward. In my opinion. Make of this what you want.

'Good' leaders inspire .... Hitler may have been an effective leader through cohersion and incentives. A head of state may bring about change that benefits a large segment of the population.....he or she represents and encourages the sentiments of the masses.
