Vision is about a broad mission. Execution is about people finding good paths -- including paths you don't know about -- toward that vision. Leadership definitely is not about convincing people you are right.

Leading is largely about getting others to adopt your goals and values. It's about setting the direction. As opposed to telling people what to do. Precisely because others may be better than you at figuring out the way forward. In my opinion. Make of this what you want.

I think that's coaching too, while getting others to adopt your views and making them do what you believe is best is managing. Leading is a good combination of the two in my opinion
