That's anarchist bullshit. However, an institutionalist like me would highlight that there is no oversight or regulation of tech and that needs to change if we are to ensure its longevity and protect it from revolution.
Extrinsic consequences are often unpredictable. A company doesn't have to be inherently evil to contribute to a damaging extrinsic consequence.

Not all tech cos. Not evil by design. I just find it inconvenient to have shared lots of my data that are centralized within couple of tech coz; especially since that data can be exploited by malicious actors within these coz or external ones
I agree with the sentiment. The overall impact of tech & tech companies is beneficial for sure. But one gots to be critical & on guard. -
