Working on designing missiles at Lockheed Martin might have a lesser human cost than working on AI software at FB. I'd like to see the establishment of a kind of Hippocratic Oath for the software engineering profession, in particular for ML engineers & researchers. Don't be evil.

It’s also unclear to me that “do no harm” is a net positive. Autonomous vehicles will 100% do harm but they will also save a ton of lives.
