There are no real restrictions on who can go to Vegas or buy lottery tickets.

Children can’t. Vegas is heavily regulated. And it doesn’t promise guaranteed winnings.

It is supposed to be a currency and you don't have rules on currency exchange.

Might be wise to step away from the stock market at this time and cryptocurrency. Why? There are those who do not like Trump. i.e. Soros who have the financial status to crash the markets and know how to while playing options to increase their financial position of power.

There are no regulations over who can buy penny stocks, for instance. They can be just as wild as BTC and be outright fraud. Nor are there regulations over how often you can trade, buying high and selling low.

If you lose your money trading (risky) assets, it’s entirely your fault. There shouldn’t be any regulations over that. In a free country you are free to be as stupid as you want to be and lose as much money as you can. We need more education, not regulation.

the only way to get into crypto is through an exchange (US). the exchanges are heavily regulated, e.g. the accredited investor status is required for margin trading.

Adoption is growing very rapidly (for better or worse) allowing hypers to pump and fuders to dump the new arrivals out of their money. humans en masse have a hard time being independent thinkers
