Success, whether for countries or individuals, is not about racing others for number of hours worked. Besides, incentivizing the appearance of hard work (showing up on weekends) rather than actual results, is a sure path to failure

Chinese don't discuss paid paternity leave because it's mandatory - I know because both me and my wife got it. If anyone's not offer it, appeal to the labor tribunal, I'm sure the employer would promptly settle with them out of the court.
