Volatility correlates with market cap. As it continues to grow, it will stabilize.

This isn't a currency, stocks with much lower market cap hold a stable value better than this.

It's fine storage of value as long as more people are convinced it's a storage of value. Many are working hard to convince others it is. At least this is less suspicious than calling it a currency

The question is when the ride will end. I don't expect my
$USD to lose all its value before the end of my life. -
I suspect that expectation is based on a number of assumptions and observations, and I bet none of them apply to Bitcoin.
