Riding my bike there wasn't funny: noise + pollution of diesel cars was terrible. To add to that, that wasn't safe.
Paris will be a great city when they get rid of *all* the individual cars and revamp the century-old metro tunnels. I give it 20 years

Cities are for people, not for cars. But I'm confident it will improve fast. Self-driving vehicles will help a lot.
