In other words, '-isms' are not necessarily about any specific group or any specific cultural feature. Hate is in the heart of the beholder.

Some amount of power, combined with insecurity and low self-esteem. The securely powerful don't bully.

I don't think that's correct. They lack compassion (but not empathy), are sociopathic. Enjoy power and aggression. Not necessarily insecure.

E.g. I don't think the overwhelming majority of racist females who voted for Trump are also misogynists.

I'd say it's a cultural thing, in particular, not adopting the humanist values. If you embrace them, it's hard to engage in most "-ism"s
