I feel like AI VC in SV is overcrowded by a considerable factor. There is far more money than viable ideas. And VC firms lack AI experts.
Add to that SoftBank and its $100B fund, where the CEO earnestly believes that the Singularity is coming in 2045...

Having personal experience here, I can say they've calmed down a lot since feb. Softbank is focused on making money with AI.
