I'm also cool with stories about superintelligence as an existential threat - but please file them in the science-fiction section.

So do you object, in general, to preparing for threats from future technology? Or do you think this technology is multiple centuries away?

I say multiple centuries because mass death from climate change is at least a century away, and evidently it's okay to worry about that.
