Most propaganda items can be debunked with minimal effort. It doesn't make them any less effective. Detection should be used for prevention

I recall a photo from Iran exaggerating their missile capabilities. It was quickly debunked. But trust in experts is quickly eroding today!

Important issue is abt lowering pt of entry to doctoring content. Tools exist now, but to create believable sound/img/vid requires skill.

Once/if the ability to doctor content indistinguishable from genuine, becomes avail to all, the landscape of news will change.
