My contrarian opinion: it won't. What matters isn't the fakes you can produce, it is mostly the possibility that any media could be fake

and that ship has already sailed. We already have sufficient media editing capabilities to cast doubt on any picture/video, no AI required

The purpose of propaganda isn't so much to make you believe lies as it is to make you doubt everything, in particular any inconvenient truth
