Every time an idea I was working on gets scooped on arxiv, I promise myself to be more ambitious the next time. Bold ideas don't get scooped

Boldness is not about an idea having impact, it's about ideas that are riskier and less obvious, two or three steps ahead

Research papers are overrated. Even the most important paper hasn't had 1/100th the impact of a library like keras, tf, or sklearn.
