If you develop the technology to build tall structures, you can use it to build tall cranes & scaffolding, leading to even taller structures
It follows an exponential explosion in building height --buildings would quickly become millions of times taller than the average human

Current skyscrapers are pretty damn high. Humans are super limited. anything smart without human limitations would be VERY smart.
