        Indeed. And shocking when you consider neuron firing rates - I believe only a few cycles to decide to hit a fast ball.

        my understanding is that a lot of the processing there happens before the ball leaves the pitcher’s hand.

        I think Andrew means not that we already solved everything brain can do in 1s but it is possible at current HW + lot of effort
