that's pretty disingenuous. Bostrom says nothing of the sort, except that deepmind is 'in the lead' and 'has an AGI focus'

he even specifically mentions 2040 as a timeline (avg polling of AI researchers), not 'we're about to develop superintelligence'

to be fair I heard him speak at NIPs last year and I think he’s a very bright and lucid thinker, easy to caricature. :|
