As far as I can tell, Prisma is the biggest consumer success of deep learning so far. One of many "killer apps" to come.

Short term, I expect assistants to be planning based (Viv). Likely take years for pure-DL to catch up!
classic AI will allow companies to launch products that will gather the data to train their DL replacements.

Unless there's human data in the loop like Facebook M, I don't see need to replace classical AI with ML if it works.

The classical AI approach has many more advantages for the planning, then use DL to communicate it.
