I'm old school: Support Vector Machine & Curse of Dimensionality are still on steady rotation.
The band "Random Forest" has some pretty cool music (they're on Spotify). But I hear "Gradient Boosting Machine" is ever better on stage.

@fchollet I tried listening to the "naive bayesians" but there's only so much 18th century boy bands one can take -
but they play nearly as well as the more complex bands on many datasets; and the math is so understandable.
