there are also times when speech sucks. eg when we go to use whiteboards or whatever even for H2H comms
yes, speech is generally bad at conveying info compared to txt/img. But it has emotional & social content, and that's important.

inter-text is although much more easily conveyed by speech because of its multimodality while text isn't so good at it.
