@fchollet Well, I think "good" music is intensely cultural and contextual, I like metal but my dad thinks it's noise.
.@makmanalp Sure. All culture is a form of communication, so "understanding" art requires grounding. Mimicking what humans do isn't enough.

well I think some level of mimicking (or modernist style "fuck this" anti-mimicking) is what makes us "like" or "get" art IMHO
