      @ndronen @fchollet this one takes the *final* state of forward and backward and concats. I want to concat each pair along the way.

      @yoavgo @ndronen so basically write a Lambda that splits the timesteps and merges them back in reverse. Only possible for fixed-length seqs

      @yoavgo @ndronen a Lambda layer is a way to execute an arbitrary TF/Theano expression in your model. Can also use the Keras backend.
