So today, following recent reflexions, I have started a bottom-up rewrite of Keras, which should be completed in a week or so.
It is intended to be 100% backwards compatible (at least for all documented features). However legacy features will be cleanly separated

@fchollet I’m rewriting some training management tools that rely on the callback infrastructure, and would be curious about direction -
