@mark_riedl I think @fchollet's question assumed code literacy. If that's not the case, I think code literacy is the first step! :)

@syhw @mark_riedl Code is a powerful medium, and rather than dumb it down, we should focus on improving its UX and teaching it far and wide.

@fchollet @mark_riedl what I mean is we need to make sure we do not live in a world where asm is free and python has a $10k license!

@fchollet @mark_riedl but code literacy is still essential to the future of humanity even if that's not a trade. Not everybody is a writer!
