I would predict that people's willingness to use violence is a sigmoid response to the prevalence of violence around them. Any actual study?

@vakibs incredible drop in violence in e.g. Japan over the past 400 years suggests biology is not relevant. Violence is vanishingly rare now
@vakibs Surely if biology was the dominant factor then violence would be constant as genetic factors stay constant.

@fchollet By biology, I don't mean just genetics but the chemical propensity to violence driven by hormones and the endocrine system. -
@vakibs since we aren't subject to external sources of hormones, then that's still genetics. But agree that chemicals can matter (e.g. lead)
