@fchollet Not saying so, just that it's an underappreciated dimension and quite important when comparing with animal brains.

@michelteivel computation has come a long way in the past 50 years. The thing with tech, is that it evolves considerably faster than brains

@fchollet That's definitely true, although so far we mostly optimize for accuracy, correctness, consistency et al, not energy.

@fchollet To me, energy is one of the areas where computational universality might be disadvantaged, but got nothing formal to back this up.
