@fchollet would you be interested in adding an early stopping criteria to ModelCheckpoint or should I implement as another callback class?
@seaandsailor I think it makes sense to make it part of ModelCheckpoint, what do you think?

@fchollet a callback can't currently interrupt training, but we could still save the best model according to the early-stopping criteria. -
@fchollet Just found a PR related to message passing from callbacks to models, maybe that's a requirement for "real" early stopping.
