Like the old religions, they make little sense to outsiders. But unlike the old religions, they're weirdly mundane. For the most part, they don't promise eternal life and transcendence. They just promise you that if you're a believer, you're going to get filthy rich eventually.

I don't know how many of them actually believe in that stuff and are just want a piece of the easy money sloshing around. I feel like I'm particularly positioned to take advantage of crypto enthusiasm but I can't do it because think it's mostly completely nonsense.
