Don't trust a theory of cognition that doesn't take into account temporal dynamics, active sensorimotor control, environmental open-endedness, and goal-setting. These are the bare requirements.

As a neurodivergent, I find IQ tests and their counterparts strange. Many of the smartest people score poorly on these (top 10% rather than top 0.0001%) while other smart people score incredibly well. I'd love to understand a different framework for understanding intelligence...
