Why does noone use Relativistic GANs in their core code?

The author of the example here. In my opinion, Relativistic GANs propose an elegant idea, so I added both losses to the companion repository which I used for ablations (https://github.com/beresandras/gan-flavours-keras/commit/a99725b6e9aec53fd2451e24f480bd89d16ed6b7 …). My initial experiments show a worse performance however, with slight mode collapse.

GANs always seem like sci fi technology to me, I love the images, they are so fun. It's hard to believe a computer made them sometimes.
