The grammar and orthography of the French language are overly complex for absolutely no good reason and should be reformed. Virtually no one can spell French correctly.

This is one of those facts that everyone can see clear as day but that no one will do anything about because of inertia and attachment to tradition.

I am so glad that this is normal. The whole thing round genders is bafflingly complex too. I far prefer Chinese in this respect.
