The challenge we have to meet is to transition into a planetary superorganism whose main concern is navigating our phase space back into homeostatic safety. "Politics" as we know it is obsolete, and so is the unrestrained market. Neither are sufficiently conscious for the job.

‘politics’ is negociation at large scales. hard to see how it is ‘obsolete’. with the market, it seems very complicated. also the OT seems off the mark. ‘politics’ and the ‘market’ i see related to social technologies (ie modes of organization and system of incentives). here,

Climate crisis has become the watermark embedded in the fabric of the world. People lack the light (the knowledge) to look at it. Once there is sufficient light and visibility, it identifies the makers (we humans) like a typical watermark.
