        I'm guessing robotics is the easiest way for an AGI to observe, learn, adapt and interact with its environment, no different from organic life.

        Most forecasters claim AI advancements within a timeline of 20 years which is unrealistic and baseless or it's beyond 50 which makes it inconsequential to the current generations. History has seen many AI winters and subsequent springs with GOFAI (good old fashioned AI)
